The Weather Forecast for 1st to 7th April
Again Spanish weather forecasters were close with their predictions; there was sun most days with the south and south west of Tenerife experiencing the best of the sunshine although there were a few cloudy spells. In the north it was a mix of cloud and sun all week. In the sunshine it was very warm, out of it a fresh Atlantic breeze made it feel much cooler. The week started with a yellow alert for high waves and strong winds in the north. The strong winds were more blustery than strong and in the end affected southern parts more than northern ones. The rain did make a brief appearance in parts but in coastal areas it was mainly during the night apart from the rare short, sharp downpour.
