The Weather Forecast for 8th to 14th April
There’s not much to say. The forecasters were right, apart from the brief cloudy spell it was a sunny week across Tenerife. They were also right that a cool breeze meant it felt quite a bit cooler in the shade than in the sun.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 15th to 21st April
It should be hot and sunny week everywhere on Tenerife. Some quite strong winds and a serious increase in temperatures at the weekend seem to suggest calima, although the weather front that brings those conditions looks as though it’s coming from the west says otherwise. Whatever the reason, it’s going to be very, very hot with temperatures reaching into the 30s.

Weather in South Tenerife –  Apart from Wednesday morning when there could be more cloud than sun, it should be a warm, sunny week with only a few light clouds about. Temperatures start the week at around 22C rising as we head through the week. With a forecast of quite breezy weather on Thursday and Friday and a 5 degree hike in the temperature to 31C in the shade on Saturday, it looks as though the week might end with a heatwave.

Weather in North Tenerife –  it will be a sunny week apart from Wednesday morning and Thursday which will see a mix of cloud and sun. Although the wind in the north won’t be as strong as the south, the temperatures will shoot higher on Saturday with the mercury reaching 32C in the shade. For the rest of the week the temperatures will be around 18/21C before jumping up for the weekend.

Weather in East Tenerife –  It will be similar to the north with a mainly sunny week except for a mix of cloud and sun on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning and Thursday. The week will start at 21C rising to 29C on Saturday.

Weather in South West Tenerife – Very similar to the south with a sunny week and a breezy weekend seeing temperatures jump from 24C to 31C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Apart from some cloud on Saturday afternoon it will be sunny in Teide National Park and on the summit of Mount Teide all week. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 13 and a warm 20C, whilst on the summit they will be between 2C and 5C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show mostly sun across Tenerife with some cloud still hanging around in parts.
