The Weather Forecast for 25th to 31st March
Anyone arriving on Tenerife for Easter hit the jackpot last week. Apart from a couple of brief cloudy spells, the week just got hotter and sunnier. It was a stunner with locals and visitors alike enjoying a glorious bank holiday weekend.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 1st to 7th April
Although the sun will be out and about every day, there will also be a lot more cloud about this week and a chance of rain everywhere on Tenerife. The south and south west should be best for sunshine. Mount Teide might be out of bounds this week with high winds possibly affecting the cable car and walking. There might even be some late snow showers during the week.

Weather in South Tenerife –  Whilst there will still be sun every day, there will also be a bit more cloud about with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday being favourites for cloudy spells. There will also be a 5-25% chance of rain on those days as well. Temperatures will stay around 21/23C with a slight drop on Wednesday.

Weather in North Tenerife – Apart from Saturday which will be sunny, it will be a mix of cloud and sun all week in the north with a 5 to 35% chance of rain from Tuesday onwards. Temperatures will be around 17/19C with, like the south, a dip midweek.

Weather in East Tenerife –  The same as the north with a 5 to 30% chance of rain from Tuesday to Sunday. Temperatures will be around 18-21C. The only difference is that the slight drop in temperature will take place on Sunday rather than midweek.

Weather in South West Tenerife
–  Apart from Wednesday it looks like it will be mainly sunny in the south west with temperatures ranging from 21C to 24C. Again there will be a slight drop on Wednesday. Like everywhere else there will be the possibility of rain from Tuesday onwards (5-30%).

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater
– It will be mainly sunny in the crater apart from the possibility of showers later today and on Tuesday evening. It will be sunny on the summit of Mount Teide except for this afternoon when there might be rain. Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon may also see snow returning to Teide’s slopes. It will be very windy on the summit until Friday so the chances are the cable car might not be running until then so check conditions before travelling to hike or take the cable car. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 6 and 10C, whilst on the summit they will be between -1C and 4C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show a sunny Tenerife with only a few clouds about.
