Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 29th August to 4th September

The Weather in Tenerife 22nd to 28th August
Not quite wall to wall sunshine on Tenerife last week. Although there was plenty of it about there were also cloudy spells especially on the north coast where there was probably more cloud than sun. It is often sunny in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon so do your sunbathing in the morning and sightseeing if the cloud rolls in. Even during cloudy spells it was a hot week on Tenerife’s coasts.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 29th August to 4th September
Not much change in the weather forecast for Tenerife for the coming week. Typically hot Aug/Sept weather with mostly sun, a few clouds and temperatures touching 30C.

Weather in South Tenerife – Much the same as last week with mainly sunny weather with some light cloud all week. There’s a chance of some light rain on Thursday, Friday and Sunday but it will probably be in the hills. Temperatures will stay around 29/30C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife –  The forecast is for more sun on the north coast than the south at the start of the week but with more cloud than sun on Thursday, Friday and Sunday when there will be the possibility of some light rain (once again more likely in the hills) . Temperatures should be around 26C all week.

Weather in East Tenerife – Hot and sunny with some light cloud on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday. The other days should see a mix of cloud and sun with the possibility of showers on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Temperatures should be around 29C all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife –  As usual the weather forecast is almost the same as the south. Sunny weather with some light cloud all week and a chance of some light rain on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Temperatures will stay around 30C all week.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit all week until Saturday when there might be some cloud. Temperatures in the crater will be 19C at the start of the weekend dropping to 14C for the second half of the week. On the summit it will be around 7/8C and will be breezy for most of the week so chack the cable car is operating before travelling.
