The Weather in Tenerife 29th August to 4th September
It was a typically hot and sunny week, although there was a bit more cloud than expected, especially in the south of Tenerife. Unusually for summer, the north probably shaded it in terms of sunshine last week. The southern and eastern side of Tenerife also experienced high tide surges at the start of the week which created some havoc on the beaches and flood damage in some places on the east coast.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 5th to 11th September
Not much change in the weather forecast for the coming week. Typically hot Aug/Sept weather with mostly sun, a few clouds and temperatures touching 30C.

Weather in South Tenerife – Once again more of the same with mainly sunny weather and only the occasional light cloud on a couple of days. It’s going to be another hot week with temperatures reaching 30C and above all week.

Weather in North Tenerife –  As with the south it should be mainly sunshine with occasional light cloud on a couple of days. Temperatures will be slightly lower than the south, staying around 27C all week.

Weather in East Tenerife – Hot and sunny with some light cloud most days with temperatures being around a sweltering 31C.

Weather in South West Tenerife –  Same as most other places; hot and sunny with only a few clouds and temperatures 31C and above.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit all week. Temperatures in the crater will be around 22C. On the summit it will be around 8C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show a sunny south but more cloud than sun in the north.
