Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 15th to 21st October

The Weather Forecast for 8th to 14th October
Once again the forecasters got it almost correct, the first half of the week was hot and mainly sunny with the second half cooling down a bit to more seasonable temperatures with some cloud rolling in as well over the weekend which seemed to hit the south on Saturday morning before spreading to the north by the evening when it brought some light showers. If looks as though Mount Teide will have to wait for its white dusting a bit longer.

We’re definitely settling down into seasonal temperatures on Tenerife as the thermometer will cool down to mid 20sC in most places. There looks as though there will be more cloud around than of late, with Wednesday probably being cloudy everywhere although Thursday is the best bet for rainfall. Saying that, there should still be a lot more sunshine than cloud around overall. Once again there’s an outside chance of snow on El Teide.

Weather in South Tenerife –  A bright and sunny start to the week will turn cloudy for Tuesday and Wednesday with the chance of rain from Wednesday onwards (5-55%). Things should brighten up again from Thursday and after that it will be a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures will stay around 25/26C throughout the week.

Weather in North Tenerife – There’s more chance of sun in the north over the coming week with Monday and Tuesday being sunny and Saturday and Sunday looking good as well. Wednesday should be cloudy with the cloud and sun battling it out for dominance on Thursday and Friday.  There’s also a chance of rain (5 to 70%) from Wednesday onward.  Temperatures should stay around 21/23C in the shade.

Weather in East Tenerife – Very similar to the north with mainly sunshine Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Thursday and Friday should see a mix of cloud and sun whilst Wednesday will be cloudy. There’s a 5 to 75% chance of rain from Thursday to Sunday. Temperatures throughout the week will range from 22 to 25C

Weather in South West Tenerife – Similar to the south, except for a bit more sunshine on Tuesday afternoon. It will be mainly sunny on Monday and from Friday to Sunday. Wednesday will be cloudy and the other days will see a mix of cloud and sun. There will also be the chance of rain 5-55%) from Tuesday to Sunday. Temperatures will be around 26/27C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Wednesday, Friday and Thursday will be cloudy in Teide National Park. There will also be the possibility of light showers on Friday in the crater. Apart from that it will be sunshine as usual. It’s exactly the same on the summit of Mount Teide except the showers may be of the snowy kind. Temperatures in the crater will range from 8C to 15C and on the summit it will vary between -1C and 7C.
