Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 10th to 16th February 2014
The warm, sunny weather is going to continue on Tenerife until the weekend when unfortunately the cloud, rain and cool temperatures will return and it looks like we will experience the coldest weather of the winter so far. Even in the southern resorts temps could drop to 15C. On Teide, temperatures could feel as low as an incredible -22C thanks to the wind chill factor. It looks like Teide National Park could be out of bounds by next weekend.
Weather Forecast for Tenerife 3rd to 9th February 2014
Again the Spanish Met Office were on the button, it was mostly a beautiful week across Tenerife. There were a couple of cloudy spells and some rain overnight in parts but mostly it was warm sunshine.
Weather in South Tenerife – After a slight chance of rain this morning, the clouds will shift and it will be sunny all the way through to Friday when the clouds will return. The weekend is looking a bit glum with and rain almost certain in parts (85-90%). The temperatures will be between 19/22C until Saturday when there will be a significant drop to 15C.
Weather in North Tenerife – A similar pattern in the north. It will be a sunny week until the weekend when it will be cloudy with an 85-95% likelihood of rain. Temperatures will also follow the same pattern, starting at 18C in the shade and possibly ending it at 13C.
Weather in East Tenerife – Exactly the same as the north.
Weather in South West Tenerife – The same pattern as everywhere else with temperatures matching that of the south.
Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be a sunny week in Teide National Park it will be a sunny week in Teide National Park until the weekend when things might get a bit hairy up there. It could be snowing in both the crater and on the slopes of Teide from Friday night with winds reaching 70kph over the weekend. Temperatures will range between 0C and 12C in the crater and 3 and a seriously cold -9C on the summit. However, with the wind chill factor it is going to feel as cold as -8C in the crater and an unbelievable -22C on the summit.
