The Spanish Meteorological Office (AEMet) have issued a yellow level (low) warning for heavy rain on the north coast of Tenerife and the highlands of La Orotava and Vilaflor.
Rainfall of 15mm per hour is forecast between midday Monday 24th and 7am on Tuesday 25th January.
Not good news for visitors, but after 2 months of hardly a drop on the north coast, it’s long overdue.
