The Weather Forecast for 17th to 23rd June
Although it wasn’t wall to wall sunshine on Tenerife as predicted, there was plenty of the hot stuff about. The north, and the La Orotava Valley especially suffered from long cloudy spells and although Sunday was a hot and sunny day, the cloud descended, like it nearly always does, for the Noche de San Juan celebrations.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 24th to 30th June
In theory it’s going to be a hot and sunny week everywhere on Tenerife with temperatures soaring for the weekend. However, Monday has started with cloud everywhere except for the east coast.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It’s simply going to be hot and sunny with temperatures reaching 28C in the shade by the end of the week.

Weather in North Tenerife –  Again the prediction is for a sunny week apart from Thursday morning when there will be some cloud. It looks like a heatwave is heading this way for the weekend with temperatures jumping to 29C in the shade from Friday.

Weather in East Tenerife –  Like everywhere else it will be a sunny week apart from Thursday when there will be a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures will remain relatively constant; around the 24/25C mark.

Weather in South West Tenerife – It will be sunny all week with some cloud about on Thursday morning. Again, the week is going to end on a very hot note with temperatures reaching 29C in the shade.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It’s, sun, sun and more sun in Teide National Park this week. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 18 and 25C, whilst on the summit they will be between 8C and 10C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show cloud covering most of Tenerife. The east seems the exception it with images showing the breezy east coast in sunshine.
