The Weather in Tenerife 14th to 20th November
Once again the weather boys and girls got it more or less right with a mix of cloud, sun and  rainy spells during the week. Very typical November weather for Tenerife. In the north the temperatures dropped to the low 20s during the day, which is on the cool side for this time of year, although in the sunshine it felt a lot warmer. The drop in temperatures also affected the south of the island with some residents describing parts of the week as ‘cool and windy’.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 21th to 27th November
Not much change from the last few week. There may be more sunshine around but it will be another week of sun, cloud and occasional rain showers with temperatures still staying a bit on the low side (for Tenerife that is).

Weather in South Tenerife – Mainly sunny with some light cloud from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday. Friday and Saturday should be mainly cloudy and breezy. There’s a 5-10% chance of rain from Thursday to Sunday. Temperatures should be around 25C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife
–  Sunny with some cloud on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday; cloudy with some sun on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; cloudy on Friday. There’s a possibility of rain (5-15%) between Tuesday and Sunday. Temperatures should be around a ‘cool for this time of year’ 20C.

Weather in East Tenerife – It’s going to be another cloudy week in the capital Santa Cruz, although there should also be sunny spells every day if the cloud is going to be a more common state of affairs. There’s a 5-20% chance of rain between Tuesday and Sunday. Temperatures will be around the 23C mark all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – A mix of sun and cloud from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday. Like just about everywhere else, Friday will be cloudy and Saturday will also be cloudy but with sunny spells. Temperatures should be around 26C. Like the rest of Tenerife there’s a chance of rain between Wednesday and Sunday (5-15%).

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater
– If you want guaranteed sun over the coming week, head to Mount Teide where the sun will be shining continuously except for Thursday afternoon when there’s a possibility of snow showers. Temperatures in the crater will be around a fresh 9C and as low as -1C on the summit. It’s going to be quite a windy week at altitude so check that the cable car is running before making any trips.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show cloud in the north and east and a mix of sun and cloud in the south and south west. But a lot of southern webcams still seem to be not working properly – we’re sure they’ll be ‘fixed’ when the full on sunny weather returns.

Pic: Chestnuts in the rain – A rain shower on Saturday night wasn’t enough to stop everyone from enjoying this seasonal treat in the north of Tenerife.
