The Weather in Tenerife 12th to 18th September
There was probably a bit more cloud than expected at the start of the week but from Wednesday onwards it was mainly sunshine with occasional cloudy spells in the north and east of Tenerife and similar in the south and south west. The slight chance of rain did actually materialise with rain in the south west on Thursday evening and in the north on Sunday afternoon for a short period.
The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 12th to 18th September
It’s very easy writing the weather forecast in the summer months, it can vary little for weeks so once again not much change in the weather forecast for the coming week. Typically hot September weather with mostly sun, a few clouds and temperatures staying around 30C.
Weather in South Tenerife – It should mostly be another sunny September week with a few light, fluffy clouds on a couple of days. Sunday is due to be cloudy with a 10% chance of rain. Temperatures will stay around 29/30C.
Weather in North Tenerife – As with the south there should be sun every day with a few light clouds. Similarly Sunday will be cloud with a 30% possibility of rain. Temperatures will remain around 26C all week.
Weather in East Tenerife – Hot and sunny with some light cloud every day except for Thursday morning and Sunday when there will be more cloud than sun. There’s a 30% chance of rain on Sunday. Temperatures will be around 29C.
Weather in South West Tenerife – It looks like the south west will once again be the sunniest and hottest part of Tenerife next week. Apart from Sunday when it’s a mix of cloudy and sun, every day is due to be sunny with only a few clouds and temperatures reaching 31C.
Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit all week. Temperatures in the crater will range from 15-19C. On the summit it will be 6-8C.
