The Weather Forecast for 12th to 18th November
Again the Spanish Meteorological Office were very close to the mark. The week started with a lot of cloud in both north and south coasts with plenty of rain in the north. But the situation improved as the week progressed with plenty of sunshine everywhere and the rain tending to confine its work till the night and early morning. Temperatures felt on the cool side in the shade (for Tenerife) but hot in the sunshine with some days showing not a great difference in temps after darkness fell.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 19th to 25th November
It looks like a better week all round for sunshine on Tenerife. The default setting for everywhere will be sun. There will be some cloud around during midweek and on Saturday in parts and there is the chance of showers during the second half of the week.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It should be mostly sunny with some cloud about. Like last week the cloudiest days will be midweek but overall it will be better weather than in recent weeks with a 5-30% chance of rain during the second half of the week. Temperatures are still low for November, starting the week at around 21C rising to the mid 20s by the weekend.

Weather in North Tenerife – It’s slightly different in the north. Although it will also be mainly sunny with some clouds hanging about, the cloudiest day could be Saturday. Tuesday might also see more cloud than sunshine. Temperatures will be on the cool side for Tenerife ranging from 15C to 20C in the shade. There’s a 5-45% possibility of rain from Wednesday onwards.

Weather in East Tenerife – Very similar to the north with a 5-45% chance of rain between Tuesday and Sunday. The east should see sunshine every day with Tuesday and Saturday being cloudiest. Temperatures will be less warm than usual for the capital, sticking around 19-20C.

Weather in South West Tenerife – The best coast for sunshine this week with every day experiencing more sunshine than cloud although like most parts of Tenerife, there is a chance of rain during the second half of the week (5-35%). Like the south, temperatures will start the week around the 21C mark before rising for the weekend to 25C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be a sunny week in Mount Teide National Park where the sun will be shining every day. Tuesday and Saturday afternoon might see some cloud and possibly even a bit of rain in the crater on Saturday which might turn into snow showers on the summit. Temperatures in the crater will range from 8C to 14C and on the summit it will vary between 0C and 5C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show a lot of sunshine with some bands of cloud in parts. The El Sauzal webcam shows exactly why it can’t be trusted as a source of information for weather in Puerto de la Cruz. El Puerto is in full sunshine, yet the webcam shows that there is thick cloud in between it and the town, making it look cloudy.
