The Weather Forecast for 10th to 16th December
last week showed why so many people swap Northern Europe for Tenerife and the Canary islands at this time of year. It was mainly sunny throughout the week with temperatures getting to late summer levels by Sunday. Perfect conditions for walking on Tenerife.
Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 17th to 23rd December
The week before Christmas looks like it will be a cracker whether you want to lie on the beach, explore the countryside or seek out some of the great events taking place on Tenerife over the festive season. It’s going to be sunny everywhere with temperatures that are slightly higher than average for this time of year (most places will enjoy temps of around the mid 20s and hotter in the sunshine), possibly as a result of a light calima. Although the weather on land will be almost perfect, be wary of the sea today as there is still a weather alert in place for wild seas. From tomorrow the Atlantic should have calmed down.
Weather in South Tenerife – Very simple, it will be a sunny week in the south of Tenerife with temperatures rising to around the 25C mark from Tuesday onwards.
Weather in North Tenerife – Like the south it will be a warm and sunny week with temperatures peaking at 23C in the shade.
Weather in East Tenerife – sun, sun and more sun and temperatures of 22C in the shade..
Weather in South West Tenerife – Same as everywhere else with a warm to hot sunny week and top temperatures of 26C.
Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – You might be getting bored with reading this by now, but, yes, it will be blue skies and sunshine all week in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit of Spain’s highest mountain. Temperatures in the crater will range from 12C to 15C and between 2C and 5C on the peak.
So far today webcams around Tenerife show a lot of sunshine across Tenerife with some high cloud in places.
