The Weather in Tenerife 7th to 13th November
Tenerife experienced more sunshine than predicted throughout the week with the north especially enjoying a lot of sunshine until Friday when the cloud rolled in covering the whole of the island. It hung around until Sunday when the sun came back with a vengeance. Again, there were shorts periods of rain in places. This combination of rain showers and sun should mean that Tenerife’s northern slopes should be losing their tired and dusty end-of-summer look and will soon be looking shiny and lush.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 14th to 20th November
The weather on Tenerife is really going through a Ground-hog Day period. Once again the week is characterised by a mix of sun, cloud and a bit of rain. The weather front brings slightly cooler temperatures to the northern side of the island and possibly some snow to Mount Teide at the weekend.

Weather in South Tenerife – Another week of sunshine and clouds, or maybe more a case of clouds and sunshine rather than the other way around. Monday, Tuesday morning and Friday to Sunday should be best for sunshine. All other days should be mainly cloudy with Wednesday afternoon and Thursday looking especially gloomy. There’s a 5-20% chance of rain from Wednesday afternoon to Sunday. Temperatures should stick around 26C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife –  A sunny start to the week with lots of sunshine on Monday and Tuesday. After that it’s a mix of cloud and sun for the rest of the week. There’s a possibility of rain (5-35%) between Wednesday and Sunday. Temperatures should be around a ‘cool for this time of year’ 21C.

Weather in East Tenerife – It’s going to be a cloudy week in the capital Santa Cruz if the cloud is going to be a more common state of affairs. There’s a 5-35% chance of rain between Wednesday and Sunday. Temperatures will be around the 24C mark all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – The south west is probably the best bet for the most sunshine with only Wednesday and Thursday having more cloud than sun. Temperatures should be a nice and balmy of 27C. Like the rest of Tenerife there’s a chance of rain between Wednesday and Sunday (5-20%).

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – After a cloudy Monday morning the sun will come out and stay out for the rest of the week in Mount Teide National Park with some cloud in the crater and on the summit on Wednesday and Saturday. Temperatures in the crater will be around 11C and between 0 and 3C on the summit. There could be some snow on Saturday night so look out for a light covering of snow on Sunday.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show…well who knows? It’s grey and wet in the north and apparently still night in the south. When some webcams in the south of Tenerife go ‘offline’ it’s usually a sign that the weather isn’t great. If the forecasters are right, the sun should be out by mid-morning as it’s already become a warm and sunny morning in El Médano in the south east.
