Severe Weather Warning For Tenerife

The rainy, windy weather forecast for the end of the week has become a bit more than that. An orange alert has been issued for Thursday by the Spanish Met Office for winds of up to 75kmh in the high areas of Tenerife. On the coasts the alert is at yellow level for rainfall of 15mm in an hour.

The alert is raised to orange level for high areas on Friday when winds could reach 90kmh. It stays yellow at the coast with similar rainfall as Thursday expected, but with winds reaching 75kmh.
