Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 3rd to 9th February 2014
It looks as though the weather is going to continue to get better with more sunshine, fewer clouds and less of a chance of rain although the wet stuff might fall somewhere on Tenerife at some point. There’s not much of a change in temperatures though which means nice and warm in the sunshine and on the cool side in the shade – typical for February.

Although there’s a weather alert for wild seas around Lanzarote, there are no weather alerts for Tenerife at the moment. But as I type I can hear the waves crashing against the shore at Bollullo… and we’re quite a distance away.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife 27th January to 2nd February 2014
On the whole, the Spanish Met Office called it right. Lots of sunshine across Tenerife with cloudy spells and rain in parts. The south did better in the sunshine stakes overall with the north experiencing showers, especially mid-week, mixed in with the sunshine that bookended the week. In the sun it felt warm, out of it, lowish shade temperatures kept it feeling cool. But this is normal for what is really the depth of Tenerife’s winter. There were weather alerts choppy seas in the north which can often be misinterpreted for bad weather. Most of the time that’s only if you are at sea. If you’re on land, you get treated to a quite spectacular show of nature’s force.

Weather in South Tenerife –  This week should be much the same as the last with a lot of sunshine, some cloud and a slight chance of rain in parts, probably in the hills (5-45%). Temperatures will stay on the low side for Tenerife, 18-21C in the shade, feeling much hotter in the sunshine.

Weather in North Tenerife – A similar pattern in the north of sunshine every day with possibly slightly less cloud. There’s still a chance of rain but it’s only 5-40%, except Friday which is 80%. Temperatures in the shade will be around 16/19C with a low 15C on Friday.

Weather in East Tenerife
–  Very similar to the north with Friday looking best bet for some rain but other days mainly sunny.

Weather in South West Tenerife – a mainly sunny week with some cloud about and a 5 to 45% possibility of rain most days (not Tuesday). Temperatures will follow the pattern of other places, starting at 22C and ending the week at 18/21C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be a sunny week in Teide National Park apart from Thursday night/Friday morning when rain in the crater could turn into snow on the summit. The strong winds of recent weeks look as though they will be absent this one. Temperatures will range between 8 and 12C in the crater and 3 and -1C on the summit.
