The Spanish Met office has issued another hot weather warning (yellow alert) for the south, east, west and highlands of Tenerife with temperatures expected to rise above 34C between 11am and 8pm today and tomorrow (Monday 19th July) so take extreme caution when walking in any of these areas.

There is no alert in place for the north of Tenerife where temperatures are a less stifling 30C.
There has also been an alert for high waves in place since yesterday for the west, south and east coast which is due to end at midnight.
