The Weather in Tenerife 2nd to 7th August
It might not have been wall to wall sunshine anywhere on Tenerife last week but it was hot and on balance there was more sunshine than cloud on both south and north coasts with the weekend in particular being very, very hot and sunny on the coasts. Amazingly for August it did rain in some areas, but on the north coast it happened at night and the only evidence was early morning puddles on the tiles.

The Weather in Tenerife from 8th to 14th August
After Monday when there will be quite a bit of cloud most places (with possibly the exception of the south west) It should be another hot and sunny week across Tenerife. Temperatures on Tenerife should range from a lovely and hot 25C to a sizzling 30C.

Weather in South Tenerife – There could be quite a bit of cloud today, but the sun should show itself at some points. The rest of the week will be mostly sunny with some light cloud and temperatures hovering around a hit 30C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife – Very similar to the south with more cloud than sun today and mostly sunny with light cloud for the rest of the week. Temperatures should be around 25C all week.

Weather in East Tenerife – A bit of a reversal for the east coast with mainly sun and cloud from today until Friday and then a mix of cloud and sun over the weekend with a 5% chance of rain. Temperatures will remain around 28C.

Weather in South West Tenerife –  Looks like the most sunshine will be on the south west coast with sunshine and only a bit of light cloud all week and temperatures around 30C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit all week apart from the chance of cloud on Tuesday morning.  Temperatures in the crater will be a hot 24C and a fresher 10C on the summit.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show that there is a lot of cloud everywhere even above Mount Teide. But there are signs here on the north coast that it’s burning off.
