The Weather Forecast for 27th May to 2nd June
There hasn’t been a Tenerife weather update for a few weeks as we’ve been travelling. Having passed through the UK twice we were glad to return to Tenerife’s ambient climes even if last week wasn’t one of the best. Although the sun put in an appearance toward the end of the week, visitors to the southern resorts complained of thick grey skies. In the north it wasn’t much better, although the sun did break through at some point most days.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 3th to 9th June
Corpus Christi week on Tenerife looks as though it should be a much better week than the previous one with all of the island enjoying mainly sunshine, apart from a couple of cloudy spells. It’s still a bit less warm than it should be with temperatures not reaching the mid 20s (in the shade) but it should feel much hotter in the sunshine. As long as the forecasters are correct, it should be a sunny day for the Corpus Christi flower carpets in La Orotava.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It looks like it will be a much better week with mainly sunny days except for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday which will be cloudy with sunny spells. Temperatures are still on the lowish side for June, staying around the 22/23C mark.

Weather in North Tenerife –  The north will also be mainly sunny except for Friday and Saturday which will be a mix of cloud and sun. Temperatures will be 18/20C throughout the week.

Weather in East Tenerife –  In the east it will be sunny from Monday to Wednesday; cloud and sun on Thursday; cloudy Friday and Saturday then back to a mix of cloud and sun on Sunday with temperatures ranging from 19 to 22C. There’s a 5% chance of rain on Friday and Saturday.

Weather in South West Tenerife – It looks like the best of the sunshine will be in the south west over the next week with every day being sunny apart from Wednesday when there will be a mix of cloud and sun. Temperatures should be a perfect 23/24C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Things are slightly different in Teide National Park where there might be cloudy spells on Monday. After that it’s sunshine all the way. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 10 and 15C, whilst on the summit they will be between 2C and 7C. There might be high winds on the summit over the weekend so check that the cable car is running before travelling.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show a a lot of sun with some cloud about in most places on Tenerife

Pic: Fingers crossed for a sunny Corpus Christi in La Orotava.
