The Weather in Tenerife 26th July to 1st August
It was hot and sunny everywhere on Tenerife during the week. Whilst they got the south and south west spot on, the Met Office was a bit out with their predictions for the east and the north. Both were hot and sunny throughout most of the week. The cloud in the north turned out to be for a couple of hours on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Temperatures were seriously high as another calima hit the island on Thursday and Friday and the mercury rose to the 40C mark. A hot weather warning and fire ban was issued by the Tenerife Government, but lifted at the weekend even though temperatures in the hills were still touching the 40 mark.
