As predicted the week got off to a scorching hot start across Tenerife. Going from webcams and residents’ comments they got the south mostly correct, although some parts of the south and south west experienced cloudy spells towards the end of the week.
The forecast for the north was completely the wrong way round, with hot sunny days on the days the Met Office predicted more cloud and cloud on two of three days they predicted sunny days with light rain overnight Thursday.
Once again Santa Cruz was sunnier than predicted and La Laguna had rain towards the end of the week with some flights into the north airport cancelled because of the low cloud that is often a curse there.
