The Weather in Tenerife 18th April to 24th April

Easter week wasn’t the best for good weather on Tenerife with the north coast probably just shading it in terms of sunshine over the week. The week started bright warm and sunny in the north whilst the south continued to experience the mixed weather that had brought a spectacularly wet end to the previous week. By mid week the weather was a mix of cloud, sun and rain almost everywhere with the Easter weekend being more like a British bank holiday weekend than a Tenerife one.

The Weather in Tenerife 25th April to 1st May

Not good news for visitors to Tenerife this week, the Spanish Met Office are predicting more of the same with a mix of cloud sun and rain all week…except for Mount Teide where the sun should be shining. On the coasts, Puerto de la Cruz in the north and Santa Cruz and the east coast look like the best bets for escaping any rain at all on Tuesday with Thursday and Saturday predicted to have almost guaranteed rainfall everywhere.

Weather in South Tenerife – Cloudy with sunny spells all week and between a 10 and 90% chance of rain every day. Temperatures should be around 24C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife – Cloudy with sunny spells all week and between a 5 and 95% chance of rain every day except Tuesday which should be sunny all day. Temperatures should be around 24C all week.

Weather in East Tenerife – Cloudy with sunny spells all week and between a 5 and 100% chance of rain every day except Tuesday which should be sunny all day. Temperatures should be around 22C all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife –  Cloudy with sunny spells all week and between a 10 and 95% chance of rain every day. Temperatures should be around 24C all week.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit of Teide all week. Temperatures in the crater will range from 5 to 10C in the crater and 2 to -5C on the summit..

So far today it looks exactly as the weather forecasters have predicted – Mostly cloudy but quite bright and even a hint of sunshine in some parts.
