The Weather in Tenerife 14th March to 20th March
It turned out to be possibly the worst week of the winter for weather on Tenerife. Apart from the snow which was spectacular and turned the vista into more of an Alpine one than the sort of views we normally associate with Tenerife, much of the week was quite cool and wet. Again the north experienced the most rain whilst the south felt the wind. The freak weather even brought hailstone showers to southern coastal areas such as Puerto Santiago. But this is Tenerife and even in a week with poor weather there were sunny spells on most days. The weather perked up for the weekend, welcoming spring with some beautiful weather and warm temperatures.

It’s a breezy start to the week in the crater but not enough to stop the cable car from operating.
This morning has started pretty much as predicted with some light cloud breaking up to let the sun through and with temperatures feeling much warmer than last week .
