The Weather Forecast for 8th to 14th June
Due to two-timing Tenerife by walking elsewhere (The Pyrenees this time) we weren’t able to post a forecast last week. At this time of year the weather on Tenerife tends to not vary much, going from hot to even hotter. Last week was typical with a heatwave sending temperatures soaring although the calima brought a haze to some parts especially at the start and end of each day.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 15th to 21st July
Although the weather alerts for searing temperatures are no longer in place (at the moment), it is going to be especially hot during Tuesday and Wednesday before things settle down and the rest of  the week enjoys hot but not blistering weather.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It’s going to be another hot and sunny week with temperatures starting the week at  around 29C before rising to 33C on Tuesday and Wednesday before levelling out at a more bearable 25/26C for the rest of the week.

Weather in North Tenerife –  It should be a sunny week with temperatures remaining around the mid 20s for most of the week; perfect for the Virgen del Carmen celebrations on Tuesday.

Weather in East Tenerife –  Like everywhere else it will be a mainly sunny week apart from between Thursday and Saturday when there will be a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures start the week at 27C dropping to 23C for the weekend.

Weather in South West Tenerife – Similar to the south, the south west starts the week at a hot 31/32C climbing a degree or so more for Tuesday and Wednesday before dropping 5 degrees for the rest of the week.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It’s going to be a sunny week in Teide National Park this week. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 17 and 21C, whilst on the summit of Mount Teide they will be between 6C and 10C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show hazy cloud most places except for the east which is sunny.
