The Weather in Tenerife 4th April to 10rd April

It was a great week for weather in the south of Tenerife with wall to wall sunshine for most of the week and temperatures in the mid twenties. Like the previous week the north experienced quite a lot of cloud (not the forecast) and although it was still warm, there were only a couple of days when the sun was dominant.

The Weather in Tenerife 11th April to 17th April

Not many changes for the coming week. It’s mostly going to be sunny across Tenerife from Monday to Thursday with mixed cloud and sun over the weekend. Temperatures will continue to rise slightly so that most coastal areas should be around the mid twenties for most if not all of the week. The hottest place on Tenerife should be Santa Cruz on Wednesday when temperatures could reach 26c in the shade.

Weather in South Tenerife
– Sunny from Monday to Thursday and mixed sun and cloud over the weekend when there will be between a 10 and 35% chance of rain. Temperatures should be around 24C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife – Mixed sun and cloud on Monday then sunny till Thursday, cloudy on Friday and mixed cloud and sun Saturday and Sunday with between a 10 and 35% chance of rain. Temperatures should be around 23C.

Weather in East Tenerife – Cloudy with rain on Monday then sunny till Thursday, cloudy Friday and mixed cloud and sun Saturday and Sunday. There’s between a 10 and 25% chance of rain at the weekend. Temperatures should be around 23C.

Weather in South West Tenerife –  As usual more or less the same as the south. Sunny from Monday to Thursday and mixed cloud and sun from Friday to Sunday. Temperatures should be around 24C all week.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater
– It should be sunny in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit of Teide all week. Temperatures in the crater will be 14C in the crater and 3C on the summit at the start of the week but there will be a marked drop at the weekend.

So far today it looks exactly as the weather forecasters have predicted – sunny in the south and in Teide National Park and cloudy in Santa Cruz and on the north coast.
