We’ve come to the coast for this week’s view of the week and a place where you don’t normally see many photos, or in fact many walkers. The north coast of Tenerife has many beauty spots and this view from an outcrop of land below La Matanza shows a coastline almost as rugged as Los Gigantes in the south west of Tenerife.
Puerto de la Cruz lies in the distance and in the foreground a wonderful rock arch above a sheltered inlet of jade green, crystal clear water which contrasts against the brilliant blue of the Atlantic beyond.
