In the North – Puerto de la Cruz (until 6th June)

Papeando entre Volcanes is a tapas route through the town which has a volcanic theme and features some explosively imaginative tapas dishes for €4 including a glass of wine, water or beer…[more information here]

In the South – Arona (1st – 13th June)

The El Almáciga tapas route takes in rustic restaurants around the hills of Arona. It’s a good way to get to see a very different Tenerife lifestyle than at the resorts on Arona’s coast, as well as some top local nosh at only €3 for a tapas with a glass of wine, beer or water…[more information here]

In the South – Granadilla de Abona (11th June)

There’s no tapas route involved with the Festival de los Sentidos in the historic town of Granadilla de Abona.  Instead local restarateurs will bring their tapas and wine to the PLaza del Calvario between 6 and 11pm where food lovers will be able to gorge themselves on local tapas goods from €1. Sounds like a long walk should be planned for the day after that one.
