The Weather Forecast for 22nd to 28th July
No surprises, it was a hot and sunny week. There was a bit more cloud about with parts of southern coastal areas experiencing a bit more cloud than in northern coastal areas. Overall, sunbathing visitors, if not walkers, will have been happy with the weather.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 29th July to 4th August
It’s going to be another hot and sunny week, although there might be some very light showers around on Thursday. It looks as though there might be a light calima around on Tuesday and Wednesday when temperatures will rise to get close to the weather alert zone. The second half of the week should be quite breezy in southern parts especially, potentially good news for the Professional Windsurfers Association (PWA ) World Cup event in El Médano from 3 to 9 August.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It’s going to be a another hot and sunny July week with only a few clouds about. Temperatures will start the week at around 29C before rising to 32C on Wednesday before dropping back to 26/27C for the rest of the week. There is slight chance of a shower on Thursday (5%)

Weather in North Tenerife –  It should be mostly a sunny week with a mix of sun and cloud from Thursday to Saturday. Temperatures remain a constant 24/25C throughout the week with a 10% chance of rain on Thursday.

Weather in East Tenerife –  A sunny first half of the week will see more clouds about from week with a few clouds about from Thursday onwards. There is a 20% chance of rain on Thursday and 5% on Friday. In the east of Tenerife the week will start around 27C before dropping a couple of degrees for the rest of the week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – Once again similar to the south, the south west starts the week at 30C climbing a couple of degrees for Tuesday and Wednesday before settling back at 27/28C from Thursday. Also like the south, there’s a 5% possibility of rain on Thursday.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It’s going to be a sunny week in Teide National Park this week. Temperatures in the crater will vary between 20C and 23C, whilst on the summit they will be between 8C and 11C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show cloud and haze most places with the sun just starting to sweep clean the greyness.
