Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 3rd to 9th October

The Weather in Tenerife 26th September to 2nd October
We only arrived back on Tenerife from Morocco on Thursday 29th but according to reports from other residents in the north and south it had been one of those beautiful hot, sunny September weeks. It was certainly a scorcher when we stepped off the plane…even at Los Rodeos in La Laguna. It remained red hot and sunny until Sunday when there were cloudy intervals and some short rain showers in both the north and the south of Tenerife.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 12th to 18th September
Not the best start for the first week in October with cloudy days from Monday to Wednesday in the south and south west and cloud and sun in the east and north. The second half of the week should be much better with mostly sunshine across all parts of Tenerife. It should still be very, very warm on all coasts.

Weather in South Tenerife – Not a great start to October with cloudy days forecast from Monday to Wednesday and a 5 to 20% chance of rain. The situation brightens up for the rest of week with mostly sun splitting the pavements from Thursday to Sunday. It will still be a very warm week with temperatures around 29/30C even during cloudy spells.

Weather in North Tenerife –  The forecast for the north is slightly better with sun and cloud forecast on Monday and Tuesday, although Wednesday should be cloudy. There’s a 5 to 15% chance of rain on those days. Temperatures will be around 27C all week.

Weather in East Tenerife – Similar to the north, the east coast of Tenerife should see sun and cloud on Monday and Tuesday and a cloudy Wednesday with a 5 to 15% chance of rain. Temperatures will be a couple of degrees hotter, around the 29/30C mark all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – More or less mirrors the forecast for the south with cloudy days forecast from Monday to Wednesday and a 5 to 20% chance of rain. The situation brightens up for the rest of week with mostly sun splitting the pavements from Thursday to Sunday. Temperatures around 30/31C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It should be mostly sunny in Mount Teide National Park with some cloud on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The summit will experience more cloud from Tuesday to Friday with Wednesday being particularly cloudy.. Temperatures in the crater will range from 13-17C. On the summit it will be 1-5C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show the forecast to be already questionable as it’s a lovely sunny morning across Tenerife.
