The Weather Forecast for 21st to 27th January
Again Spanish forecasters got it right, there was lots of sunshine but also some cloudy spells and a bit of light rain in parts. It continues to be cold at night and cool out of the sun but in full sunshine it is hot.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 28th January to 3rd February
It looks as though it should be a sunny week ahead across Tenerife with everywhere enjoying sunshine until the weekend when many places will experience cloudy spells as well as sunny ones. North and Eastern parts cloud be cloudy on Sunday and there is a slight chance of rain on all coasts although if it’s like last week’s, Northern Europeans would scoff at it being called rain. Temperatures are a seasonal 20-25C but it will still feel cool out of the sun and at night especially at the start and very end of the week.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It’s going to be sunny all week with only a bit of light cloud over the weekend when there will also be a 5-15% chance of rain. Temperatures start the week at 20C and rise to about 24C during the week before dropping a couple of degrees on Saturday and Sunday.

Weather in North Tenerife – It will be a sunny week in the north except for Sunday which will be cloudy. Saturday may also see some cloud but not much and the there’s a possibility of light rain over the weekend (10-25%). Temperatures should stay around 20/22C in the shade before dropping to 17C on Sunday.

Weather in East Tenerife –  A mix of cloud and sun today is followed by a sunny week until some cloud rolls in again on Saturday and is joined by its big brothers on Sunday. Temperatures will start the week at 18C rise to 21c during the week and drop back to 17C on Sunday. There might be some showers over the weekend (10-30% possibility).

Weather in South West Tenerife – Much like everywhere else it will be sunny all week with a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will range from 22 to 25C throughout the week and there is a slight chance of rain over the weekend (5 to 15%). .

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – As is so often the case, Teide National Park and the summit of Mount Teide will bask in sunshine all week. Temperatures in the crater will range from 10C to 14C and between 0C and -2C on the peak.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show some cloud everywhere but also lots of blue sky.
