Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 12th to 18th December

The Weather in Tenerife 5th to 11th December
Again a mostly sunny and warm week across Tenerife with little difference in the amount of sunshine hours during the week. There was a cloudy glitch midweek and on Sunday, but overall Tenerife enjoyed a lovely December week. The snow on Mount Teide didn’t materialise but the small calima we predicted did, making Friday feel more like a late summer’s day than a December one.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 12th to 18th December
It’s looking like it’s going to be another warm and sunny December week on Tenerife with only a few clouds about. It might be a bit breezy on some days in some areas and there’s a weather alert for wild waves on Tuesday for the east and north coast. But apart from that it should be a fab week to be on Tenerife.

Weather in South Tenerife – It should be a lovely sunny week in the south of Tenerife with only a few light clouds towards the end of the week. Temperatures should be around 24/25C all week. Once again, sunny breezy weather is forecast for the end of the week  – surely not another small calima?

Weather in North Tenerife –  Almost exactly the same as the south with sunshine every day. The only difference is that there will be a few more light clouds about and Sunday should be a mix of sun and cloud. There’s a yellow weather alert for lively seas on Tuesday but that usually just means The Atlantic puts on a bit of a show. It could be breezy week from Tuesday afternoon and there’s a 255 chance of rain on Sunday. Temperatures should be around 20C in the shade.

Weather in East Tenerife – There will be a mix of cloud and sun all week except for Thursday and Friday, which will be mainly sunny, and Sunday which will be cloudy with a 35% chance of rain. Temperatures will be around the 22C mark all week and it will be quite breezy. There’s also a yellow weather alert for high seas on Tuesday.

Weather in South West Tenerife – Much the same as the south with a sunny and breezy week week with a few light clouds at the end of the week and a 15% chance of rain on Sunday. Temperatures will be around the 26C mark all week.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – The sun will be shining in the Mount Teide crater and on the summit continuously until Friday afternoon. After that it’s mostly cloudy for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures in the crater will be a cool 10-12C and as low as -3C on the summit. There’s no snow forecast.
