The Weather in Tenerife 23rd to 29th August
AEMet didn’t do great with their forecast for the north and the east of Tenerife last week; it was simply sunny and very, very hot all over Tenerife. There was cloud in the north on Tuesday, but apart from that it was sunshine all the way.
Another weather alert was put into place towards the end of the week and temperatures reached unbearable levels.
Visitors are basking in the gloriously sunny weather, but there is a very serious side to weather like this; these constant calimas have turned Tenerife into a tinderbox. If walking on Tenerife take extra care whilst these extreme hot weather spells continue.
