Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 10th January to 16th January

The Weather in Tenerife 3rd January to 9th January

The Spanish Meteorological Office (AEMet) are on a good run at the moment, their predictions were once again almost right on the nose. It was a beautiful week on Tenerife with temperatures on the coast around the 23C mark (perfect temps for visitors, but what we here consider a bit ‘fresh’).
Tres Reyes, like Xmas and New Year’s Day was another stunning day, completing a festive hat trick. It’s wonderful weather for visitors and ideal walking conditions, except for Mount Teide’s summit which is still out of bounds due to ice and snow conditions (although it didn’t seem that severe up there when we were there just after Xmas). The continued lack of decent rain on the north coast is somewhat of a worry though.

The Weather in Tenerife 10th January to 16th January

Looks like more of the same for the next week at least. There is a remote chance of rain on Tuesday and on Friday and Saturday, but even if it happens it will probably only be a quick, light shower.

Weather in South Tenerife – Another sunny week with occasional cloud. Temperatures should be around 23C.

Weather in North Tenerife – again similar to the south with temperatures also around 23C.

Weather in East Tenerife – A cloudy day is expected today followed by a mix of sun and cloud for the rest of the week and temperatures slightly less warm at 22C

Weather in South West Tenerife – Exactly the same as the forecast for the south and north coasts of Tenerife.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Gloriously Sunny all week for the crater and Mount Teide’s with temperatures a cool 9C in the crater and an icy -3C on the summit.

The cable car should be operating all week.

So far today as predicted it’s a lovely sunny day across all of Tenerife.
