The Spanish Met Office has issued a weather warning for the south, east, west and highlands of Tenerife, advising that temperatures are set to soar to 34C – remember that’s in the shade. At the moment the alert is up until Thursday 3rd June.
As far as walking goes,it’s best to keep to areas with plenty of shade. The north coast and the Anaga Mountains aren’t covered by the alert, so may present the best options over the coming days.
