The Tenerife weather forecasters got it more or less right for last week; it was a mix of cloud and sun for most of the week. The weather front from the south continued to bring rain to the south coast during the week with some southern areas experiencing heavy downpours in between sunny spells. The rain didn’t each the north coast apart from in the middle of Saturday night. During the day there was a lot of sunshine with the pattern being blue sky and sun until around 2-2.30pm which meant that even with mixed weather forecast there was still about 6 hours of sunshine most days. One noticeable point was that night temperatures have dropped a few degrees towards the end of the week, becoming a more seasonable 18-19C, so long sleeves or light jackets are essential at night.
