The Weather Forecast for 3rd to 9th December
Not a great difference between north and south Tenerife last week with a mainly sunny week turning cloudy over the weekend. Temperatures on both coasts were around 21/22C in the shade but felt a lot hotter in full sunshine.
Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 10th to 16th December
This week looks as though everywhere on Tenerife will enjoy plenty of sunshine although the second half of the week will see cloud roll in and the possibility of some showers. Temperatures are still on the cool side for Tenerife staying in the low 20s. Good conditions for walking rather than sunbathing.
Weather in South Tenerife – The week will start with a mix of cloud and sun with more cloud than sun from Monday to Tuesday. From Wednesday onwards it should be mainly sunny with only a few light cloudy spells. Despite there being less cloud cover, there’s a 5% possibility of rain between Wednesday and Sunday. Temperatures will remain between 21 and 23C.
Weather in North Tenerife – There’s more sunshine in the north this week with the sun dominating except for Tuesday afternoon when there will be a mix of cloud and sun. Like the south, there’s a chance of rain from Wednesday onwards (5-25%).Whilst it will feel hot in the sun, it might feel on the cool side in the shade with temperatures staying around 17/19C.
Weather in East Tenerife – Like the north, Santa Cruz and the east will be mainly sunny all week with a slight chance of rain between Wednesday and Sunday (5-25%). Temperatures will between 18-21C in the shade throughout the week.
Weather in South West Tenerife – Similar to the south there will be more cloud than sun on Monday and Tuesday with the balance changing from Wednesday onwards. Again, there’s the possibility of rain between Wednesday and Sunday (5-15%). Temperatures will be a bit up and down, starting the week around the 21C mark before rising to 24C on Tuesday then dropping to 21C on Wednesday before settling around 23c for the rest of the week .
Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Apart from Monday afternoon it will be sun. sun and more sun in Mount Teide National Park and on the summit of Spain’s highest mountain. Temperatures in the crater will range from 8C to 12C and between -1C and 4C on the peak.
So far today webcams around Tenerife show a lot of sunshine across Tenerife with some high cloud in places.
