The Weather Forecast for 24th to 30th December
New Year Week on Tenerife was almost a rerun of Christmas week with warm, sunny weather across the island except for Christmas Eve and Day which were a mix of cloud and sun. Heavy rain in the north on Christmas Eve, especially around Los Realejos, caught the weathermen by surprise. The rest of the week was glorious.

Like Christmas, things are expected to perk up for the rest of the week with sunshine forecast all over the island. Los Reyes Magos should arrive to sunny weather when they touch down on Tenerife on Sunday evening.

Weather in North Tenerife – In theory the north will be enjoy more sunshine than the south with no cloudy spells forecast although it will be a few degrees cooler, starting at 15C in the shade before rising to 19C for the weekend.

Weather in East Tenerife – Mostly sunny but Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon will be cloudy. Temperatures will stay around 18/19C in the shade.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It’s blue skies and sunshine all week in Teide National Park and on the summit of Mount Teide. Temperatures in the crater will range from 7C to 12C and between 0C and 3C on the peak.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show quite a lot of cloud across Tenerife, but there are plenty of blue patches so expect the sun to dominate as the day progresses.
