Heavy rain in the north on Christmas Eve, especially around Los Realejos, caught the weathermen by surprise. The rest of the week was glorious.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It’s blue skies and sunshine all week in Teide National Park and on the summit of Mount Teide. Temperatures in the crater will range from 7C to 12C and between 0C and 3C on the peak.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show quite a lot of cloud across Tenerife, but there are plenty of blue patches so expect the sun to dominate as the day progresses.
