The Weather in Tenerife 19th March to 25th March
The first week of Spring wasn’t as hot and sunny as it has been on Tenerife although there were still very hot, sunny days to be had most places. More cloud drifted in this week affecting the north coast especially at the start of the week where a pattern of sunny mornings and cloudier afternoons characterised the second half of the week. Southern areas saw more sunshine but also experienced occasional cloudy spells.

The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 26th March to 4th April
There are slight noticeable changes in the weather – there’s been a bit more cloud about and temperatures are slowly rising by about a degree a week. The coming week should be a sunny one in most places until the weekend when some cloud will drift in for a couple of days before the sun dominates again on Sunday. The far south west resorts should see the most sunshine and the north should experience the most cloud. There is still little chance of rain as the Azores anticyclone in the Atlantic remains stubbornly stuck in place affecting our weather patterns.

Weather in South Tenerife – Mostly sunshine across the south of Tenerife from Monday to Wednesday and on Sunday. Thursday and Friday should see a mix of cloud and sun with a 5% chance of rain on Thursday morning whilst Saturday should be cloudy. Temperatures will stay much the same as they have been at around 23C in the shade.

Weather in North Tenerife – There’s a bit more cloud forecast for the north with Monday, Tuesday and Sunday looking best for sunshine. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will see a mix of cloud and sun and Saturday will be cloudy. There’s a 5% chance of rain from  Friday to Sunday. Temperatures will be around 9C in the shade.

Weather in East Tenerife – Sunny from Monday to Wednesday and on Sunday. Thursday to Saturday will see a mix of sun and cloud and there’s a 5% chance of rain from Wednesday onwards. Temperatures stay around 20C in the shade all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – The far south west, as is so often the case, is the best pick for the most sunshine in coastal areas? It should be a very sunny week with some cloud on Thursday and Saturday morning and a 5% chance of rain from Friday to Sunday. Once again predicted to be the hottest place on Tenerife with shade temperatures of around 24C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater
– It will be sunny all week in Mount Teide National Park and on the peak of Mount Teide. Temperatures in the crater will vary from 10C to 13C and from -1C to 3C on the summit.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show quite a lot of cloud across Tenerife.
