The Weather Forecast for 21th to 27th October
The first half of the week should see perfect weather on Tenerife. The seasonal change may start to show itself for the weekend when it seems that nowhere on the island is going to escape the wet stuff falling from the sky. Even if it does rain, there still should be plenty of sunshine around. There may even be the possibility of snow showers on Mount Teide. Vamos a ver, as they say.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 14th to 20th October

Once again the rain didn’t really materialise and it turned out to be mainly sunny with just a few cloudy spells. Again it sounded as though north and south western parts fared better for sunshine than southern ones. Overall though, a very warm October week.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It should be a sunny week until Friday when there will be a mix of cloud and sun and a good chance of rain over the weekend (45-85%). Temperatures in the first half of the week will be a perfect 25/27C but will drop to 21/22C for the weekend.

Weather in North Tenerife
–  A similar tale to the south; a sunny week will see more cloud and the probable likelihood of rain between Friday and Sunday (75-90%). Temperatures will start the week at around 23C and drop to 19/21 over the weekend.

Weather in East Tenerife –  Once again, exactly the same story as the north.

Weather in South West Tenerife – The south west mirrors everywhere else with a 45-85% chance of rain from Friday to Sunday and temperatures of 27/28C dropping to 22C over the weekend.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Even Mount Teide won’t escape rain this week if the forecasters are correct. It will be sunny in Teide National park till Friday when the cloud will roll in. Saturday should be sunny but it could rain at crater level on Saturday night with the possibility of snow higher up the mountain. Temperatures in the crater will range from 9 to 18C whilst on the summit it will be between 1 and 5C. It will also be a windy week up high so check the cable car is operating before travelling.
