The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 14th to 20th May
The sky high temperatures throughout much of last week may have sounded like bliss to anyone dreaming of a holiday in the sun but in reality they were energy sapping and sleep stealing at best and positively dangerous at worst. At times temperatures pushed the 40c mark before the heatwave broke on Thursday and the thermometers dropped to a more user friendly mid 20s for the end of the week.
Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 21st to 27th May
A much better week in as much as the heat will not be so energy sapping with almost perfect temperatures for sunbathing, hiking and generally exploring Tenerife.
Weather in South Tenerife – Another very sunny week with temperatures staying around a more bearable 26/27C in the shade.
Weather in North Tenerife – Like the south it will be a week of sunshine with a few light clouds and temperatures around 22/23C in the shade..
Weather in East Tenerife – Same story as everywhere else, sunshine sun with temperatures staying between 25/26C.
Weather in South West Tenerife – No prizes for guessing the south west is also going to enjoy a sunny with and skin friendly temperatures of 27/28C.
Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be unbroken sunshine all week on Mount Teide and in Teide National Park. Temperatures in the crater will vary from 7C to 15C and from 0C to 7C on the summit.
So far today webcams around Tenerife show sunshine all over Tenerife as predicted.
