Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 17th to 23rd March 2014
On the whole, it’s looking like it should be a another sunny week most places on Tenerife. There will be some cloud during the second half of the week with rain looking more or less certain at some point over the weekend in the north and north east with a possibility of some rainfall in south and south westerly parts as well. There should be sunshine every day in the south, north and south west with only far eastern parts of Tenerife experiencing a couple of cloudy days. The week should start lovely and warm but temperatures will drop during the second half of the week so that it could feel cool out of the sun.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife 10th to 16th March 2014
Although not wall to wall blue skies, there was plenty of sunshine to enjoy across Tenerife last week. The predicted rain at the start of the week did arrive, but mainly during the night. The north enjoyed sunnier weather at the start of the week whilst the south had the best during the second half of the week when cloud tended to roll in as the day progressed in the north.

Weather in South Tenerife –  It looks like it should be another very sunny week with the only cloud turning up for the weekend when there will also be a 15 to 25% chance of rain even though it should still be mostly sunny. Temperatures start the week at a very springlike 23C but winter isn’t done yet and they start to fall a bit from Wednesday bottoming out at 18C over the weekend.

Weather in North Tenerife – Although the sun is going to shine every day in the north, there will be a bit more cloud about from Wednesday with a 5% chance of rain from then. Rain looks certain over the weekend (90%) but so is sunshine, so it might fall during the night which is common for this time of seasonal change. Temperatures start the week at 20C but cool down to 16C in the shade by the weekend; low for this time of year.

Weather in East Tenerife –  It should be sunny on Monday and Tuesday, sun and cloud on Wednesday and Saturday and cloudy during other days. There’s a chance of rain from Wednesday with Saturday and Sunday looking like dead certs for rainfall. Temperatures match those of the north.

Weather in South West Tenerife – Exactly the same as the south except maybe a degree warmer. A sunny week in the south west.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be full on sunshine in Teide National Park all week until Saturday night when there could be rain in the park and snow showers on the summit. Temperatures will range between 7C and 11C in the crater and -2C and 0C on Mount Teide’s upper slopes. No strong winds are predicted so the cable car should be fine this week.
