The Weather Forecast for 11th to 17th November
A wind from the north brings cooler temperatures and quite a bit of cloud for Tenerife this week. There shouldn’t be much rain about but after a sunny start to the week, there will be cloud about most places. Mount Teide will have the most sunshine followed by the south west and the north. Gloomiest spots should be the south and the east of the island.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 4th to 10th November
The forecasters weren’t far off the mark. The first half of the week was very hot and sunny with slight calima skies and then cloud rolled in at times during the second half of the week, bringing rain in places. To put this ‘rain’ on Tenerife into perspective, I was caught in a shower in Puerto de la Cruz on Friday morning wearing only a tee shirt, in the mugginess it was wonderfully refreshing and I was dry within minutes of getting back to the car. There was quite a change at the end of the week with the hot temperatures turning ‘November’ and dropping a few degrees as expected.

Weather in South Tenerife –  Monday will start sunny and then cloud will move in with the latter half of the week being more cloud than sun with a 5-25% possibility of rain. Temperatures will continue to slide, starting the week at around 25C and ending it at 19/20C.

Weather in North Tenerife –  Although there will be some cloud about after Monday, the sun should be shining every day in the north this week. There will be a chance of rain (5-45%) and temperatures will be a bit cooler than recently, around 21C at the start of the week 18C by the end.

Weather in East Tenerife –  There will be more cloud than sun in the east with quite a bit of cloud forecast from Tuesday onwards when there will also be a 5-55% chance of rain. Like the north, temperatures will remain around 18/21C.

Weather in South West Tenerife – It will be sunny until Thursday afternoon. After that it will be mainly cloudy for the rest of the week with a 5-25% chance of rain. Like the south, temperatures will start the week around 25C and end it around 20C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – Mostly it will be sun, sun, sun in Teide National Park, except fro Wednesday afternoon and Thursday when there will also be some cloud in the crater and above Mount Teide. Temperatures will range between 10 and 15C in the crater and 0 and 2c on the summit.
