There are few finer feelings in life than knowing the work you put into something has been appreciated by somebody and this week we had just such a moment.

An email arrived in our inbox which read:

“Dear Andrea

Just thought we would write to let you know how much we enjoyed using your walking guides on our, too short, holiday last week. It was our first trip to Tenerife but certainly won’t be the last.  We found the guides useful even when paths were well marked on the ground (such as some of the Caldera walks) because of the extra information you gave and the estimated times.

In particular we enjoyed the Cruz del Carmen to Chinamada walk.

I don’t suppose it took them long to write that message but it put a huge smile on our faces and made all the work we put into it worthwhile.
