Access to the Summit of Mount Teide Still Closed

For anyone who’s considering climbing to the peak of Mount Teide as part of a Draconian regime for shedding the Christmas extra inches or just for pleasure, the summit is currently still off limits to the public due to compacted ice and snow rendering the conditions too dangerous.

The situation will be revisited on the 10th January 2011 so we’ll keep you updated.
